Build a Bear!

For Christmas, some friends of ours gave the kiddos gift certificates to Build A Bear. Since they were bombarded by the mass quantities of new toys they got for Christmas, we decided to wait a while to take them to make their new friends, and spring break seemed like the perfect time. Aiden chose a bunny, who apparently really loved to dance to the birthday song you could put inside of them, and Annabelle chose a light brown bear, whom she loves to cuddle.

After our new friends got stuffed and received their hearts, we got to give them "baths" which is what Aiden was really looking forward to. He thought the air coming out of that bathtub was the coolest thing ever. The kids chose some clothes for their friends and gave them their names. Annabelle's bear is named Henry - I am beyond surprised she didn't want to make it a girl and get some frilly pink dress for it. Aiden was starting to melt down so his bunny was named Parker by default (he pressed the letter P on the keyboard and I gave it the first name that came to mind - which also happens to be the name of one of our twin friends from our old playgroup). We then happily strolled the mall with our loot dragging behind us...
