Hard to believe it's been over 2 years and the twins have never been to the beach! On July 29th, we ended that dry spell and took the kids with a bunch of our friends from playgroup, to Lake Michigan. Despite several meltdowns on the way there, the kids had a blast!
The highlight of the trip had nothing to do with the water (although they enjoyed that too). They loved playing in the sand, and I don't think they ate too much of it either! And although Mommy and Daddy were very diligent about putting sunscreen on the kiddos, we were not that thorough on ourselves. Let's just say we missed a few spot and were paying for it for days to come!
